Before you pay
Free includes 3 identifications and 1 follow-up per day, with at most one follow-up per result. Alternative-match updates require Plus. After using all daily identifications, upgrade to Plus for further identifications or notebook reanalysis that day. Plus includes 100 shared requests per UTC day: each identification, reanalysis or follow-up uses one. Daily allowances reset at 00:00 UTC for both plans. Free reanalysis uses one identification. Technical failures release the allowance. Changing tools or signing in does not reset usage.
Photo identification is a starting point for learning and can be wrong. Plus provides more allowance for the same tentative analysis.
Unsaved photos expire after 24 hours. Saved records remain readable and exportable after downgrade; adding records stops at the current plan limit. Delete records or your account to remove them.

Common questions about plans and billing
Photo guide updated
Yes. Free includes three identifications and one follow-up per UTC day, with at most one follow-up for each result. You can upload photos and read the full report without an account. Free includes a basic estimated value range; detailed price analysis, meaning and symbolism, and a full report for an alternative match require Plus.
All photo tools use the same daily allowance. Changing tools, signing in or deleting a result does not reset usage. After using all three daily identifications, you can wait for the next reset or upgrade to Plus for further identifications and reanalysis that day. Photo comparisons can be uncertain, and a completed uncertain result still uses an allowance.
Sign in with an email verification code or Google, where available, to keep eligible results from your current browser. Free accounts can save up to 200 specimens; Plus supports up to 500. Saved records include photos, notes, results and conversations, and can be reopened, exported or deleted. Plus also includes favorites and named collections.
Unsaved photos and results expire after 24 hours. Saved records remain readable and exportable after a downgrade, but adding new records stops when you reach the current plan limit. Canceling a subscription does not delete your saved specimens.

Yearly is charged as one payment for the year ahead; its monthly equivalent is shown for comparison and is not a monthly installment. Review the amount charged, renewal terms and any taxes at checkout before confirming.
Both billing periods include the same Plus features and daily allowances. Your subscription renews until you cancel. If the page labels checkout as a test, it does not make a real payment. When checkout is unavailable, you can continue using Free.
Free provides three identifications and one follow-up per day. Plus provides a single pool of 100 requests per UTC day: each identification, reanalysis or follow-up uses one request from that same pool. Plus allows up to 20 follow-up questions for each rock, subject to the requests remaining that day. It does not provide 100 identifications plus another 100 replies. Both plans reset at 00:00 UTC.
A supplemental review of a saved specimen creates a new result version and uses one identification on Free or one shared request on Plus. Generating a full report for an alternative match requires Plus and uses one shared request. Technical failures release the allowance; completed results, including uncertain comparisons, use it. If a request is interrupted, check its existing status before submitting it again.
Sign in, select a billing period and review the price and policies before checkout. After returning, open Billing to check your payment and subscription status. Plus becomes available after payment is confirmed; returning from checkout alone does not confirm that the payment succeeded.
If the payment is still processing, refresh the billing status later. Keep the order reference if you need help. One subscription covers the general identifier and every focused photo tool.
Open Manage billing from your account or billing page to review invoices, payment methods and renewal settings. Cancel renewal there. Access normally continues until the end of the paid period shown in Billing, unless a refund, dispute or billing hold changes your subscription status.
Your saved specimens remain readable and exportable after cancellation or downgrade. Delete individual records or your account if you want them removed, and download any exports you need first. Canceling or deleting an account does not reset the daily allowance.
Email support@rockidentify.net for a refund or order question. Describe the issue and include an order reference when available. Do not include card numbers, passwords or other sensitive payment details. Replies are handled by email.
Refund requests are reviewed and are not automatically approved. A refund or dispute can change your subscription access. A larger allowance does not make photo identification certain: results and value ranges remain tentative and do not replace professional examination or appraisal.
